For example they will state “well Inteco is a sanitary pad distribution service.” That is not the answer to the question. You are answering the what you are not who you are,
Let’s try answering the question again.
Q:”What does Inteco do?” A: “We alleviate mensuration related stress”
Q: How? A: “Providing convenient and accessible purchase of sanitary pads.”
You Have Great Answers to The Wrong Question
The above scenario illustrates how misled you can be when you have answered the wrong question. Even worse react without explicitly thinking about it. How do you define your business?
Use The 5Ws and a H method
- What are you solving?
- Why are you solving it?
- How are you solving?
- Who are you solving it for?
- Where are you solving it
- What time do you solve it?
Condense this to one or two sentences. It shall be the starter to your elevator pitch.
